THORChain has released a public beta version of its native swap interface at swap.thorchain.org. The platform acts as the protocol’s main front-end for cross-chain trading and allows users to swap cryptocurrencies directly between blockchains using native assets. It removes the need for wrapped tokens, bridges, or centralised exchanges.
The interface is built for use across decentralised finance and is intended to support both new users and experienced traders. It provides a direct way to access THORChain’s cross-chain swap functionality through a single web interface.
“With this interface, we’re providing the community with a dedicated home base – a place where THORChain is prioritized above all else.”
Features Available in the Beta
The beta version includes several core functions designed to support native cross-chain swaps:
- Wallet compatibility: Users can swap assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, TRX, DOGE, BCH, LTC, AVAX, and ATOM using any self-custody wallet.
- No required wallet connection: Users can place swaps without connecting a wallet to the website.
- Native asset swaps: The platform supports direct swaps between blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Avalanche, and Cosmos, without wrapped tokens.
- Open source design: The codebase is open for review and use by the wider ecosystem.
- Simple interface: The layout focuses on clarity and ease of use.
The interface sends swap activity directly through THORChain. It also gives the core team control over routing and user flow, which supports protocol growth that reflects community priorities.
Roadmap and Next Steps
The public beta allows early users to test the interface and share feedback. THORChain plans a full launch in Q1 2026.
Planned updates include:
- Support for many more tokens across additional chains
- Interface updates to improve onboarding and show routing details
- Access to more THORChain features, including bonding and liquidity provision
- Changes based on user feedback from the beta phase
Access and Availability
The swap interface is live at swap.thorchain.org and works in standard web browsers. This release remains in beta and will continue to evolve before the planned Q1 2026 launch. User feedback will guide further development.
